Poor Santa!!!

Well I took the twins to see Santa last Thursday at the mall. I asked Kaden if he minded that he had to miss out because he would be in school. Kaden said, "naw, they are just guys in suits, it's not the real Santa!" LOL!! Smart kid! Ok, so we were the first ones in line and when Santa walked up Karter was all excited and shouted Santa, Santa!! Well when they allowed us to go in and talk to Santa, Karter at first told Santa his name and when asked what he wanted for xmas he said, "tools and that is my sister" (pointing to Kierra still frozen in the stroller). She did not want to get out. Finally she got out and stood very cautiously next to Santa, she would not sit on his lap. That's ok at least I got a pic, right? Well after much persuading, Karter refused to even get close enough for a pic, he was crying pretty darn hard by then and I only got his sweet cheek in the pic. But OMG look at Santa's face!!! This man worked so hard to get Karter to like him. Priceless!! Well the real Santa will be coming in just a few short days and my kids could not be more excited! Here's hoping Santa is good to all of you as well. And let us not forget the real meaning of the season and that is the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior! Blessings to all of you!!!

Christmas Fun

I cannot believe that Christmas is almost here!! It is such a busy time preparing with all of the shopping, wrapping, decorating, baking, etc.... A person really needs to slow down and enjoy the season for what it is for. This year the twins are understanding more and it is so much fun watching it through their eyes, for example when we first put up our tree. They were absolutely amazed and just stood there staring for minutes straight!

They made cute candy houses at my sister's house a few weeks ago, they had so much fun making these with all of their cousins:
And then last Friday we went to a Lorie Line Christmas concert, we meaning Jason, myself, Kaden and my in-laws. It was absolutely fantastic and I totally recommend this show to everyone!! Here is Kaden at home in front of the tree wearing his new suit:

Now at the end of the concert/show, they invite all the children from the audience to come up, wear a costume, and perform a song. This year's chosen song was the "12 days of Chrhistmas". Kaden is one of the Ten Lords of Leaping:

On Monday night we took the kids to see the Canadian Pacific Holiday train. This has become a tradition in our family as we are big train fans, or geeks! It was a cold night, so we just followed the train. Such a pretty sight:And finally we started our holiday baking last night. I loooooove these cookies but have never, ever made them. Why? I have no idea!!! So this was my first attempt and man oh man did they taste GOOD!! The kids were mad (after tasting a few of course!) that I put them in the freezer. Tonight, M&M cookies and other chocolately sweet stuff!!!

Taking a break from designing until after the holidays. Enjoying this time with my family. I am ready to start a new year and make my resolutions. It always feels so good to start out positive!

Happy Holidays to all!!!!!

Is it getting colder?

Well here in Minnesota it is almost down right FRIGID!!! The cold, wintry weather got me in the mood to create my latest kit, called - Frigid:
And as with all of my digital scrapbooking kits, you can buy the entire kit or buy the paper pack or elements pack individually as well. I love the soft colors and I had so much fun with the elements, especially the snowman who was hand drawn by me! hehehe

So if you like this kit and want a closer look >>CLICK HERE<< to go directly to acherryontop dot com. Stay warm my friends and have a great rest of the week!!

Basic Black Revamped

Basic Black was my very first digital scrapbooking kit and continues to be my most popular. I really love it because black just works with everything! Well I decided to make it better!! I added some new elements, tweaked some of the old, and replaced some of the papers with newer designs. This kit definately is one to have at hand throughout the entire year!! Take a look:

Also in the works is a winter kit that is sure to please! Be on the lookout for the launch of "Frigid" digital scrapbooking kit VERY SOON!!!! Have a great week!
